Handling Objects and Creating Exhibitions Show-and-Tell – Heritage Open Days
We will be at St Nicholas Priory with a handling session of some historic medical artefacts and some behind-the-scenes activity showing you what goes into creating exhibitions. Get on your cleaning gloves and let us take you through some of the things we do to prepare objects for display – especially in a historic building such as the priory!
We are also celebrating a new exhibition highighting the weird and wonderful range of objects in our collection, specially curated by emerging professional and intern Lucy O’Connor. This can be found upstairs in the display space behind the Great Hall.
This is a free event for Heritage Open Days, though donations are appreciated to support the running of the charity and care of the collection.
